Manuscript Preparation

Submission Guidelines

Paper Format

  • Manuscripts must be written in English and submitted as PDF files for review.
  • Authors should follow the conference manuscript template and Springer Computer Science proceedings formatting guidance where applicable.
  • Tentative paper length: short papers 6–8 pages and full papers 10–12 pages, subject to final proceedings requirements.
  • The maximum number of authors is currently limited to five unless specifically approved by the Technical Program Committee.

Originality & Scope

  • The work must be original, unpublished and not simultaneously submitted to another conference or journal.
  • The manuscript must fall within the ICSSCC 2027 tracks or closely related areas.
  • The Technical Program Committee may perform an initial scope and quality screening before peer review.
  • All sources, datasets, methods and prior work must be appropriately acknowledged and cited.

Similarity Screening

  • Submitted manuscripts will be checked using licensed similarity-detection software.
  • The conference currently applies a maximum overall similarity threshold of 15%, excluding bibliography where appropriate.
  • Substantial overlap with a single source, unattributed reuse or plagiarism may result in rejection at any stage.
  • Authors remain responsible for the originality and integrity of the submitted work.

Use of Generative AI Tools

  • Any material use of generative AI tools in preparing text, figures, images, code or other manuscript content must be transparently disclosed.
  • Authors are fully responsible for accuracy, originality, citations, permissions and research integrity.
  • AI tools must not be listed as authors and must not replace author accountability.

Peer-Review Process

ICSSCC follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process designed to evaluate originality, technical quality, relevance and clarity.

Initial check for relevance, completeness and basic submission requirements.

Originality screening before the manuscript enters formal peer review.

Three Reviews

Each paper is reviewed by a minimum of three subject experts.

TPC Decision

Decision based on reviewer reports, quality criteria and conference scope.

  • Quality of results and analysis
  • Clarity, organization and reproducibility
  • Ethical compliance and data integrity
  • Quality and relevance of the literature review

Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Provide an independent, rigorous and constructive technical assessment.
  • Identify gaps requiring clarification, additional validation or correction.
  • Evaluate novelty, significance, clarity, relevance and repeatability.
  • Declare conflicts of interest and maintain manuscript confidentiality.
  • Recommend mandatory corrections and optional improvements where appropriate.
Proceedings note: A proceedings proposal for ICSSCC 2027 is being submitted to Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS). Publisher-specific formatting, copyright and final submission requirements will be confirmed only after formal proceedings approval.
